We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys for a variety of projects, including boundary surveys, topographic mapping, and construction staking. This role requires a combination of fieldwork to gather data and office work to process and analyse findings. The Surveyor will work closely with engineers, architects, and clients to ensure the accuracy of all measurements and the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Field Surveys: Perform various types of land surveys, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking, using a range of surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and drones.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect and record survey data, including measurements, angles, and elevations. Analyse and interpret field data to create detailed maps, plans, and reports.
- Mapping and Drafting: Utilize CAD software and other specialized programs to draft survey plans, plats, and legal descriptions of property.
- Research and Documentation: Conduct research of historical records, legal documents, and land titles to verify property boundaries and rights of way. Maintain accurate and organized field notes and project documentation.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and timelines. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and precision of all survey work by adhering to industry standards and best practices. Calibrate and maintain surveying equipment.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to understand their needs, present survey findings, and address any questions or concerns.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Licensure: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is highly preferred. For entry-level positions, the ability to obtain licensure in the future is desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Surveyor, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Experience with various types of surveys is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating modern surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
- Strong skills in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GIS software.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for performing complex calculations.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ₹8,396.26 - ₹21,959.47 per month
