SURVEYOR

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform topographical, boundary, and level surveys using total stations, GPS, and other instruments.
• Conduct underground (UG) utility surveys, identifying and marking existing services before excavation or construction.
• Prepare survey reports
• Ensure accuracy in road alignment, levels, and cross-sections during road works and pavement laying.
• Use GPS for data collection and mapping.
• Maintain survey instruments, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Coordinate with engineers, draftsmen, and site supervisors for layout execution.
• Verify site levels and measurements for quality control and progress tracking.
• Adhere to safety procedures and site regulations during all fieldwork activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction/infrastructure surveying (UG, GPS, and road works).
• Proficient in Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driving license (preferred).
