Key Responsibilities:
- Perform topographical, boundary, and level surveys using total stations, GPS, and other instruments.
- Conduct underground (UG) utility surveys, identifying and marking existing services before excavation or construction.
- Prepare survey reports
- Ensure accuracy in road alignment, levels, and cross-sections during road works and pavement laying.
- Use GPS for data collection and mapping.
- Maintain survey instruments, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Coordinate with engineers, draftsmen, and site supervisors for layout execution.
- Verify site levels and measurements for quality control and progress tracking.
- Adhere to safety procedures and site regulations during all fieldwork activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in construction/infrastructure surveying (UG, GPS, and road works).
- Proficient in Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
