Surveyor Cum Civil Supervisor

Job Summary

The Surveyor Cum Civil Supervisor is responsible for carrying out land and construction surveys while also supervising day-to-day civil works at site. The role ensures accurate setting out, level control, and proper execution of civil activities as per drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Surveying Responsibilities:

• Perform site surveying, setting out, leveling, and layout works using Total Station
• Establish benchmarks, grid lines, centerlines, and reference points
• Check alignment, levels, and dimensions of civil works as per approved drawings
• Prepare and maintain survey records, drawings, and measurement data
• Coordinate survey activities with site engineers and consultants

Civil Supervision Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily civil construction activities at site
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Manage labor, subcontractors, and site discipline
• Monitor workmanship, material usage, and productivity
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and site procedures
• Assist in quantity measurements and coordination with Quantity Surveyor
• Prepare daily progress and survey reports

Qualifications & Experience

• DAE (Civil) / Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Surveyor / Civil Supervisor
• Strong hands-on experience with Total Station (mandatory)
• Experience in high-rise / housing / infrastructure projects preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in Total Station and leveling instruments
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of surveying methods and civil construction practices
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and site documentation
• Good coordination, leadership, and communication skills
• Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented

Working Conditions

• Site-based role
• May require extended working hours as per project requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs70,000.00 per month
