Marine Surveyor – Tubular Piling Projects
We are looking for an experienced Marine Surveyor with strong exposure to tubular piling and marine foundation works for port, jetty, quay wall, and offshore construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform survey works for tubular pile installation, pile positioning, pile verticality checks, and pile alignment control.
- Establish survey control points, benchmarks, and setting out for marine piling activities.
- Carry out pre-installation, installation, and as-built surveys for steel tubular piles.
- Monitor pile coordinates, cut-off levels, inclination, penetration depth, and final pile position.
- Support barge positioning, crane alignment, and marine equipment setup during piling operations.
- Conduct hydrographic and topographic surveys related to marine construction activities.
- Prepare survey reports, as-built drawings, calculations, and coordinate records.
- Coordinate with project engineers, marine construction teams, and QA/QC teams to ensure pile installation meets project tolerances.
- Operate survey equipment such as GPS, Total Station, Auto Level, and marine positioning systems.
- Ensure survey accuracy in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in marine construction projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in steel tubular piling, marine foundations, jetty, quay wall, or port construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, survey data processing, and engineering calculations.
- Experience with survey instruments from brands like Leica Geosystems or Trimble is preferred.
- Good understanding of marine survey methodologies, coordinates, and construction tolerances.
Pay: From AED7,500.00 per month
