We’re Hiring: SURVEYOR (STEEL STRUCTURE)

Location: Doha, Qatar

Project Services Co. Qatar W.L.L., a leading construction company in Qatar, is seeking a qualified Surveyor to support our steel structure erection works. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out, checking alignment and levels, and ensuring all erected steel elements comply with approved drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out setting-out and surveying works for steel structure erection in accordance with approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and grid lines at site.
• Check and verify alignment, levels, plumbness, and positioning of steel columns, beams, and structures during and after erection.
• Coordinate with site engineers, erection teams, and QC inspectors to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Prepare and submit survey reports, as-built records, and measurement data for consultant/client review.
• Verify anchor bolt locations, elevations, and tolerances prior to steel erection.
• Ensure surveying instruments are calibrated and maintained properly.
• Support inspections with consultants and clients related to survey and alignment works.
• Assist in resolving site issues related to discrepancies, deviations, or tolerances.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Surveyor in construction projects within Qatar.
• Proven experience in steel structure erection works is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of QCS 2014 and local authority requirements.
• Proficient in using total station, auto level, and related surveying instruments.
• Able to read and interpret structural and shop drawings accurately.
• Proficient in MS Office and preparation of survey reports.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
