We are looking for a Corporate Sustainability Assistant Specialist to take part in Şişecam Directorate of Sustainability located in Tuzla / İstanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering fields or Social Sciences, master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
• 0-2 years of experience in sustainability-related roles. (Consultancy, NGO, Private sector)
• Strong interest in ESG, corporate responsibility, and sustainable development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with sustainability disclosures is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English
• Excellent communication, and organizational skills, as well as a collaborative nature, and a solution-oriented approach

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assisting in conducting materiality and priority analyses to guide sustainability focus areas
• Supporting the development and refinement of the corporate sustainability strategy
• Monitoring and analyzing stakeholder and competitor sustainability expectations
• Tracking ESG performance and actions managed by third-party organizations
• Contributing to the preparation of Sustainability Reports in line with global standards
• Helping coordinate sustainability audit processes and follow-up actions
• Assisting in the management of the sustainability data platform
• Supporting strategic sustainability initiatives involving NGOs, public institutions, and other stakeholders
• Assisting in creating training materials, newsletters, and publications to build internal and supplier capacity
• Providing content for internal and external sustainability platforms, including digital media
