Swing & Night Public Safety Dispatcher

Swing and Grave hours ONLY. Must be able to work both!

DISPATCHING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS, but relatable experience may be accepted.

You MUST have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment that will require you to answer and prioritize phone calls while using a two-way radio to communicate with officers in the field, while also making log entries on a computer to detail the calls and officer activity.

Dispatchers are also tasked with facilitating shift coverage in the event of late arrivals or call outs by utilizing the company schedule and call list.

An applicant MUST be computer literate, with a minimum of average reading and writing comprehension. You must have typing skills, customer service, reliability/dependability and a strong work ethic as major components of your character in order to work at and succeed at Arcadia Security.

If you are a person that seems unable to arrive for your shift on time, or have a tendency of calling out, you will not make it through training and/or probation, regardless of whatever your reason(s) may be.

Starting Salary: $43,600.00 to $47,800.00 (DOE)

We conduct your first Performance Review: After 90 days (a raise may be given at this time)
We conduct your second Performance Review: After 180 days (another raise may be given at this time)
We conduct your third Performance Review: After Anniversary Date (an additional raise may be given at this time)
Additional reviews there-after are conduction after your anniversary dates (additional raises may be given after each anniversary date thereafter)

You MUST answer ALL of the screening questions.
If you do not answer them or do not answer all of them, you will automatically be denied.

Besides the questions regarding any previous employment at Arcadia, or any previous in-person interviews, if you answer NO to any of our screening questions, you will be denied an opportunity to interview. If you answer yes but then arrive for your interview and provide information that contradicts your screening question answers, the interview will be immediately stopped or canceled.

This process is the first step for being evaluated on an applicant's ability to follow directions.

Pay: $43,600.00 - $47,800.00 per year
