Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and work areas.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a painter or finisher in a cabinet/woodworking environment.
• Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50+ lbs. as required.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
