As a SaaS System Architect, you will design and develop scalable and high-performing distributed cloud-based applications.
Your deep understanding of software architecture will be essential in supporting multiple applications and customer scenarios, ensuring a seamless transition from development to production and maintenance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, domain experts, and technical leaders, to ensure reliability, scalability, and architectural excellence across our solutions.

What you will do

Design and drive system architecture implementation based on product needs
Assess impacts, dependencies, and risks for all requirements
Provide clear feature specifications and time estimates to development teams
Ensure architectural compliance with Ericsson standards and practices
Collaborate with other system architects to harmonize methodologies
Mentor and guide technical leaders within the domain
Anticipate and adapt to emerging IT and cloud technology trends
Provide thought leadership within and beyond the unit

You will bring

A Bachelor’s degree (MSc is a plus) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience (10+ years in software/cloud architecture)
Proven track record as a technical reference in system architecture
Expertise in designing and developing highly scalable cloud applications on hyperscale cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in building applications with high availability, scalability, resiliency, observability, and disaster recovery
Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, and in workflow management tools (e.g., Prefect, Argo)
Solid understanding of IAM, security, and privacy integration for enterprise-grade applications
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven architectures
Strong understanding of API design and security best practices
Ability to lead by example in programming and documentation standards, and to communicate complex topics effectively to stakeholders
Collaborative, self-driven, and solution-oriented mindset
Hands-on experience with CI/CD/CT practices
Exposure to AI/ML algorithms and AI-centric products is a strong advantage
