Role Overview

We are seeking a high-calibre Systems Accountant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) to lead financial reporting enhancement, ERP optimization, and internal control governance across a large diversified Saudi group.

This role acts as the critical bridge between Finance and IT, ensuring financial integrity, automation, reporting excellence, and compliance across multiple business verticals.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 D365 Financial Reporting & Automation

• Design and enhance financial reports and reporting structures within D365.
• Lead automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop management dashboards and executive reporting packs.
• Optimize chart of accounts across multiple entities.
• Collaborate with BI teams (Power BI preferred) for advanced analytics integration.

🔹 Financial Controls & Governance

• Strengthen system-based controls (workflows, approvals, segregation of duties).
• Ensure IFRS compliance and alignment with local regulatory standards (SOCPA where applicable).
• Conduct periodic system control reviews and risk assessments.
• Support internal and external audits related to ERP controls.

🔹 ERP Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Act as Finance SME for D365 modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Project Accounting).
• Identify configuration gaps and lead system enhancements.
• Participate in UAT, upgrades, and system implementations.
• Standardize finance processes across diversified business units.

🔹 Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with Finance, IT, and operational teams across construction, asset management, retail, and entertainment.
• Support integration of newly acquired entities into D365.
• Deliver user training and best-practice guidance.

Candidate Profile

🎓 Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory).
• Professional certification (CA / ACCA / CPA / SOCPA) preferred.
• 6–10+ years in finance systems, ERP, or management accounting roles.

🖥 Technical Expertise

• Advanced experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Strong consolidation and group reporting background.
• Experience in ERP governance and internal control frameworks.
• Power BI and advanced Excel proficiency strongly preferred.

🏗 Industry Exposure (Preferred)

• Experience within diversified or multi-entity groups.
• Exposure to construction (project accounting), asset management, retail, or entertainment.
• GCC market experience preferred.
