Position Summary:

The Associate Director – Core Banking (T24) will be overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Temenos T24 solutions. This role will be accountable to provide deep domain and technical leadership in T24 platform development, integration, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in T24 AA modules (Lending, Deposits, Accounts) and hands-on experience in managing complex banking transformation initiatives. Developing technical design specification and translating technical design into process/program specification.

Responsible for development & enhancement of existing software applications including developing, modifying and maintaining applications with a high level of accuracy and focus on customer satisfaction.
Duties and responsibilities:

Drive end-to-end project execution, from requirements gathering to deployment and support, ensuring agile best practices.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders (Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk) to ensure platform scalability and regulatory compliance.
-
Act as a thought leader for the T24 platform, guiding architecture decisions and technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.

Review business requirements and translate them into scalable technical design documents and specifications.

Design, develop, and customize T24 modules and components (AA Lending, Deposits, Accounts, Customer, Teller, Payments, Treasury, Funds Transfer, Cheque Management).

Write and optimize T24 routines, versions, enquiries, reports, and browser-based screens using TAFJ, jBASE, or INFOBASIC.

Lead and support system integrations with internal and external platforms via T24 APIs, OFS, Web Services, TIF, and MQ messaging.

Ensure smooth data migration, load/stress testing, and data consistency across systems.

Own and manage change management and release processes for core banking solutions.

Establish and enforce standards for documentation, coding, testing, deployment, and best development practices.

Mentor and coach junior developers and business analysts, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.

Work closely with branch and branchless banking teams to support multiple initiatives.

Assist in defining reporting requirements and scoping for development of new or enhanced reports.

Evaluate architecture and component-level design trade-offs with a focus on performance and scalability.

Exhibit ethical development practices and ensure alignment with organizational behaviors (Be Respectful, Keep Promises, Always Explore, Create Together).

Manage compliance risk inherent in day-to-day technical activities and contribute to the ongoing refinement of policies, processes, and systems.

Education:
Bachelors in Software Engineering
Experience:
5 to 10 years in the Banking sector or T24 Dev Team
