Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead

About The Role

Great talent doesn’t just show up, it’s found, won over, and set up to succeed. As Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead , you’ll own the full recruitment lifecycle and build a best-in-class onboarding experience.

Sitting within the People & Culture function, you’ll be a trusted strategic partner to business leaders, attracting top-tier talent across technology, fintech, and financial services while ensuring every new hire integrates seamlessly and hits the ground running.

What You’ll Be Doing

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across technical, commercial, and corporate functions.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including Boolean search across LinkedIn, job
  • boards, and talent databases.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and interview
  • frameworks.
  • Manage relationships with external search firms and recruitment agencies.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, cost-per-hire, offer
  • acceptance rate).
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion practices throughout the hiring process.

Onboarding & Integration

  • Design and continuously improve a structured onboarding programme covering pre-boarding through the first 90 days.
  • Coordinate with IT, Finance, Legal, and business units to ensure a smooth day-one experience.
  • Develop onboarding content, welcome kits, and orientation schedules in collaboration with
  • department heads.
  • Monitor new hire satisfaction and retention through structured check-ins and pulse surveys.
  • Identify onboarding gaps and propose solutions to accelerate time-to-productivity.
  • Maintain compliant employee records and support visa/work authorisation processes where
  • applicable.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, preferably within technology, fintech,
  • financial services, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record managing full-cycle recruitment for a wide variety of roles—from engineering
  • and product to operations and finance.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or overhauling onboarding programmes.
  • Strong proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g. Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, SmartRecruiters) and HRIS
  • systems.
  • Data-literate: comfortable building dashboards and presenting recruiting metrics to
  • leadership.
  • Experience managing stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite and senior leadership.
  • Solid understanding of employment law fundamentals and compliant hiring practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD/SHRM certification is a plus.
