Job Title: Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Reports To: Vice President of Talent Acquisition
Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, managing a high-volume provider desk. This role will facilitate the recruiting process, including sourcing, qualifying candidates, screening candidates, conducting in-depth interviews, facilitating interviews with hiring managers, conducting debriefs and decision-making sessions and placing successful candidates. The ideal candidate is capable of independently managing a large desk of positions and any follow-up conversations between management and candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quickly build credibility and relationships with internal customers (hiring managers) through expertise, positive customer influence, realistic expectations and delivery of commitments.
- Obtain an in-depth understanding of open positions, including experience, skills and competencies needed for success in the role.
- Manage a desk of internal transfers, facilitate HR compliance, interviews and compensation review.
- Screen candidates and qualify them based on requirements determined by hiring managers.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and status updates, guiding candidates through the process, soliciting candidate requirements, negotiating and delivering fair and equitable offers of employment.
- Navigate and update ATS requisitions, postings and third-party postings daily.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure that open positions at all levels are being filled effectively and efficiently using recruitment best practices.
- Partner with the Onboarding team for a smooth transition from offer to start date.
- Coach hiring managers on interviewing, decision-making and acting within compliant hiring practices.
- Formulate and utilize diverse recruitment channels in the development of a long-term recruitment strategy.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need through various sourcing techniques.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Negotiate offers and 'close' candidates.
- Develop recruiting materials: prepare written and visual materials, monitor the internal job page, and prepare print advertisements and job board postings.
- Develop provider letter agreements.
- Follow all corporate hiring policies/practices and all federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, groups and employees.
- Maintain accurate reporting and develop improved reporting metrics.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume desk.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and compliance with hiring laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong negotiation skills.
Required Travel:
- Up to 25% to local recruitment events, SRH health center locations local to Suffolk County, Hudson Valley and New York City.
Preferred Specialized Skills:
- Active SHRM CP or PHR certification.
Education and Previous Employment Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in full life-cycle recruiting, preferably in a high-volume healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in managing internal transfers, HR compliance and compensation review.

Pay: $85,000-$95,000
Sign On Bonus: $1,500
