Overview

The Talent M&A Integration & Operations Lead offers the opportunity for global, enterprise-level impact and broad exposure to various parts of the business. You will partner with HR and the business, acting as a subject matter expert to develop talent management integration strategies, lead cross-functional workstreams, and deliver a smooth transition for acquired employees into Gallagher’s talent ecosystem – all while supporting our M\&A growth objectives and talent retention goals. Beyond M&A, you will lead internal initiatives to streamline processes, improve team efficiency, and promote standardization across theTalent Management and HR Transformation (TNT) team - helping the entire function operate more effectively.


How you'll make an impact
  • Lead planning and execution of talent integration across five TNT workstreams: Talent Management, Learning & Development, Early Career Talent, Inclusion & Diversity, and Talent Analytics.
  • Conduct HR due diligence with acquisition targets to assess talent capabilities, systems, and processes.
  • Perform gap analysis and define integration strategies in partnership with TNT functional leads.
  • Manage integration project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate communication between M&A teams and TNT workstream leads.
  • Oversee onboarding of acquired employees into Gallagher’s talent programs and services.
  • Support cultural integration and change management efforts to align acquired employees with Gallagher’s values and practices.
  • Monitor post-integration outcomes and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve internal TNT operations, workflows, and collaboration.
  • Standardize processes and tools across TNT Centers of Excellence to enhance consistency and service delivery.
  • Implement best practices and shared resources to streamline project execution.
  • Support HR transformation efforts including HR Target Operating Model (HR TOM) adoption and shared services optimization.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, piloting innovative solutions, and measuring impact.

About You

Bachelor's degree; Minimum 7 years related experience developing and prescribing strategies for curriculum management, student-centered learning, or adult learners. Advanced knowledge of learning strategy and design, instructional methods and training techniques. Advanced business acumen/knowledge. Advanced project management, organization and planning skills and detail-orientation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in using MS Office applications with key strengths in PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.

Preferred:
  • 7+ years of management consulting, HR or Talent Management experience, including significant M&A integration and/or HR project leadership.
  • Deep expertise in talent processes such as performance management, succession planning, employee experience, and learning & development. Able to quickly understand and evaluate different HR systems and processes.
  • Strong project management and change management skills with ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives. Formal project management training/certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills across global regions and levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement and innovation mindset.

Compensation and benefits


We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
