Position Overview

The Talent Recruitment Coordinator plays a vital role in attracting and hiring exceptional educators and staff for our charter school network. This role manages candidate communications, schedules interviews, and plans recruitment events while serving as a brand ambassador to ensure a positive candidate experience. The coordinator oversees recruitment logistics—including career fairs, hiring days, and internal/external workshops—and provides critical operational and administrative support to the recruitment team. Additionally, this role assists with data collection and reporting to inform strategic recruitment decisions, ensuring the network is staffed with mission-aligned professionals committed to student success.

Responsibilities/Duties Include But Are Not Limited To The Following

Recruitment Operations & Event Planning

  • Post, update, and manage job openings across multiple platforms (Handshake, state education sites, etc.).
  • Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Understand the value of data integrity which aids in our efforts to identify trends and maintain weekly talent recruitment dashboards.
  • Coordinate and execute recruitment events such as career fairs, hiring days, and career workshops (internal and external).
  • Manage event logistics, including venue setup, materials preparation, registration, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to develop event collateral (flyers, social media posts and campaigns, job fair materials).

Candidate Experience

  • Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics for candidates, hiring managers, and school leaders.
  • Ensure a smooth, welcoming experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct and track pre-hire requirements such as references, employment verifications, and teacher certification verification.

Hiring Manager Support

  • Partner with principals, hiring managers, and school leaders to coordinate interview schedules and feedback collection.
  • Prepare recruitment materials, interview packets and candidate evaluation tools for hiring teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or event coordination (K–12 or charter school experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems; Paycor preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale events (career fairs, workshops, hiring events).
  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, and social media platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary $60,000. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications
