Role Summary
The Talent Sourcing Sr. Manager –Retail supports talent acquisition excellence and leads sourcing efforts for Retail & drives sourcing strategy, builds a strong retail talent pipeline, and ensures timely access to top talent for exceptional customer experiences. This role leads a team of Sourcing Specialists to deliver high-quality talent quickly, while partnering with universities and external organizations to grow early talent & develop talent intelligence capabilities.
ROLE PROFILE

Lead the development of a retail talent intelligence capability that continuously gathers insights on competitor hiring, market availability, and compensation trends within the retail and FMCG landscape

Build and nurture strong relationships with universities, vocational institutions, and retail training academies to establish a steady pipeline of high-quality early and mid-career retail talent.

Partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) Business Partners and retail leaders to understand store-level and functional talent needs, aligning sourcing strategies with workforce priorities (frontline, operations, supply chain, and commercial).

Ensure market data and candidate insights are documented, analyzed, and shared effectively across Retail OPCO to support strategic workforce planning

Provide regular talent market briefings to TA and retail leadership to inform proactive sourcing strategies

Balance reactive hiring needs with proactive pipeline building, ensuring continuous community engagement for critical retail functions (e.g., store management, logistics, and commercial buying

Train, mentor, monitor, and evaluate the performance of the Sourcing Specialist, providing constructive feedback and coaching to help them improve their effectiveness in talent acquisition

Design and implement upskilling programs focused on multi-channel sourcing, candidate engagement, and employer branding.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 8 years’ experience with at least 3 years in a talent acquisition/recruitment focused role. Experience of leading and building high performing teams.

Strong research and analytical skills, combined with good knowledge of sourcing techniques, including direct sourcing, networking, and online platforms

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
