Job Overview

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed dining choices.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, specials, and service techniques.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
