Tax and Accounting Associate - Remote

L. V. Browne, CPA is a CPA firm in the Richardson, Texas area. We are seeking a tax and accounting associate to join our team. At least three years accounting and tax experience is required with emphasis on planning and executing audits. This person should be detail oriented, a team player and entrepreneurial. Experience with non-profit organizations is a plus.

WHAT WE NEED:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

*Complex Bookkeeping and Accounting as needed

*Ad hoc accounting support and report preparation

*Secure document management

*Client written and verbal correspondence

*Customer service

Necessary skills:

*You know how to use, and love to learn to use technology like QuickBooks Online, Tax Act, ProConnect, Suralink, Outlook, Word and Excel

*Great phone/email manners and phone/email etiquette

*Ability to learn new computer programs

*Ability to follow up and resolve client issues and act as communication liaison

*Familiarity with general office equipment and Microsoft Office software programs

*Ability to work independently AND within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
