Tax Associate

Advisors Deck is hiring a Tax Associate with minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in Pakistan’s tax laws, including Withholding Tax challan preparation & filing, Annual Income Tax returns, PRA & Sales Tax returns, and FBR representation. If you do not have direct, professional tax compliance experience in Pakistan, please do not apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation & submission of Withholding Tax Challans (Monthly & Annual)
• Filing of Withholding Statements under relevant provisions of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001
• Preparation & filing of Annual Income Tax Returns for individuals, AOPs, and companies
• Monthly PRA and Sales Tax return preparation & filing (including SRB, KPRA, BRA if required)
• Representation before FBR and other tax authorities on behalf of clients
• Preparing Income Tax Return workings & reconciliation statements
• Ensuring timely compliance with all applicable tax deadlines
• Advising clients on tax obligations, notices, and compliance strategies
• Maintaining proper documentation for audit & legal purposes

Required Skills & Qualifications (Mandatory – Do Not Apply If You Don’t Meet These):

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in tax compliance within a CA firm or tax consultancy in Pakistan
• Comprehensive knowledge of:
• Income Tax Ordinance, 2001
• Sales Tax Act, 1990
• Provincial Sales Tax Laws (PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA)
• FBR IRIS & related portals
• Proficiency in Withholding Tax filing, Annual & Monthly returns, and challan preparation
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for tax calculations & reconciliations
• Excellent understanding of tax notices, assessments, and compliance procedures
• Ability to independently handle client tax matters without guidance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
