Tax Call Center Representative

<Responsibilities>

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls from clients seeking tax-related assistance, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Provide clear explanations of complex concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis to clients with varying levels of financial literacy.
  • Assist clients with understanding their financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets, and guide them through account reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate unresolved issues or complex cases involving mergers & acquisitions or private equity transactions.

<Qualifications>

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Customer service related experience.
  • Experience adhering to ethical and confidentiality requirements
  • Excellent communication, patience and problem-solving abilities to help address taxpayer inquiries and diffuse difficult situations.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot tax-related inquiries.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
