The Tax Executive is responsible for managing the company’s tax compliance, preparing tax reports, ensuring timely filing of tax returns, and supporting the team in tax planning and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of VAT and other applicable taxes.
- Maintain proper tax records, documentation, and supporting schedules.
- Review financial transactions to ensure correct tax treatment.
- Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and advise management on compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors on tax-related matters.
- Prepare tax reports and reconciliations for management review.
- Support the finance team with tax planning and risk management.
- Ensure all tax payments are made accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in UAE in VAT-specific roles
- Our preference is people working in consultancy firms in tax as opposed to Industry.
- Background in VAT e.g. VAT or similar indirect tax roles inside or outside UAE
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field such as ACCA or CA Finalist.
- UAE VAT certifications will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of middle east region like VAT in KSA, Oman, Bahrain etc will be an added advantage
- Ability to understand or speak Arabic will be an added advantage
- Driver license and car to visit client will be an added advantage
