Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced "Tax Manager" to lead and oversee all tax-related processes, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations. This role will be responsible for managing tax reporting, audits, and strategic tax planning while acting as a trusted partner to the finance and leadership teams. Automotive industry experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and other tax-related obligations.
• Ensure compliance with local tax legislation as well as international accounting standards.
• Oversee tax matters related to importing and exporting business, including customs processes, duties, and international trade taxation.
• Coordinate and oversee tax audits, liaising with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess potential business impacts.
• Prepare accurate and timely tax reports and declarations.
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams on cross-functional projects.
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; master’s or CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional tax experience, ideally within multinational companies; automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and international tax frameworks.
• Proven experience in tax planning, audits, and compliance.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems knowledge (SAP preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a must.
