Role Summary

The Tax Manager will oversee all tax-related services in the UAE and KSA, leading compliance, advisory, and strategic tax planning for Mazeed’s clients. This role will also play a key part in shaping new tax service verticals, collaborating across departments to develop and promote offerings that align with market needs and regulatory changes. Beyond operations, the Head of Tax will act as a thought leader, representing Mazeed in the market through events, webinars, and client engagements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage corporate tax, VAT, WHT and regulatory compliance services in UAE and KSA.
• Monitor and interpret ongoing changes from FTA, ZATCA, and other regulators, ensuring Mazeed’s compliance and thought leadership.
• Identify and launch new service verticals or enhanced offerings (e.g., structuring, tax advisory, sector-specific compliance).
• Collaborate with the product & tech team to improve tax-related features, workflows, and automation within the Mazeed platform.
• Work closely with marketing and sales to:
  • Develop and position service offerings
  • Define pricing structures and packages
  • Shape go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns
• Engage directly with key clients to provide strategic tax consultation and build long-term trusted relationships.
• Represent Mazeed in webinars, events, and seminars as a subject-matter expert.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the tax team, fostering a high-performance and learning-driven environment.
• Act as the senior escalation point for high-value or complex tax cases.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance; advanced certifications (ADIT, CTA) preferred.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in tax, with strong expertise in both UAE and KSA tax regimes.
• Proven leadership in managing tax operations and advisory teams.
• Strong client-facing and consultative skills, with a commercial mindset.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams.
• Confident public speaker with a track record of external engagements (webinars, panels, etc.).
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong plus.
