Tax/Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Taxation Executive to ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax laws. The role includes preparation and filing of tax returns, handling notices, coordinating with external consultants and legal advisors, and ensuring timely adherence to all applicable taxation regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax returns under Federal and Provincial Laws.

* Ensure compliance with FBR regulations and Provincial Revenue Authorities (PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA).

* Handle correspondence, notices, and queries from tax authorities.

* Stay updated on tax laws, SROs, circulars, and amendments to ensure accurate compliance.

* Assist in tax audits, assessments, and reconciliations.

* Liaise with external tax advisors and legal counsel for dispute resolution and litigation matters.

* Maintain accurate documentation for tax filings and provisions.

* Support management in tax planning, risk assessment, and advisory for transactions.

* Ensure timely deposit and record-keeping of withholding taxes.

* Provide timely updates on changes in federal and provincial tax regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

* ACCA, ACMA, or CA Inter, MBA, M COM.

* Completed articles from a QCR-rated firm and at least 2 years in a taxation role.

* 2–4 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory (corporate or consultancy).

* Strong knowledge of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, Sales Tax Act 1990, and Provincial Sales Tax Laws.

* Hands-on experience with IRIS and provincial tax portals (PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA).

* Understanding of tax assessments, appeals, and litigation processes.

* Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred).

* Strong communication and drafting skills for tax correspondence.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
