About the Role
The Teacher Trainer will be responsible for building the capacity of Instruction Specialists / ICT Teachers and facilitating computer science labs at partner government and affordable private schools to create a high-quality computer science education ecosystem for student learning.
The role requires strong training and teaching skills, an analytical and creative problem-solving mindset, and the initiative to independently own and build components of the programme while ensuring that the value delivered to students is sustainable, meaningful, and impactful.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesTrainings & Capacity Building
- Build teachers’ capacity by conducting structured training sessions as per programme requirements and providing on-the-job support during monitoring visits
- Collect, develop, and share effective teaching methodologies that can be implemented in classrooms
- Conduct training needs assessments, prepare training plans, develop training materials, and evaluate training effectiveness
- Support programme, curriculum development, and research teams in creating training manuals
- Participate in professional development activities, including seminars, workshops, and learning forums
- Participate in beginning-of-year training programmes as per schedule
- Engage in monthly learning circles to share best practices and prepare for upcoming classes
- Work closely with the Program Manager to strengthen teaching capacity based on feedback
Program Delivery
- Collect and compile school-level and training data and support data analysis and report preparation
- Submit accurate and timely monitoring, supervision, training, and observation reports
- Support programme teams to enhance the overall quality of education delivery
- Ensure effective curriculum delivery across assigned grades and schools, which may involve classroom teaching and travel within the city
- Develop monthly grade-specific goals and daily lesson plans in alignment with curriculum and teaching philosophy
- Assess and monitor student learning outcomes through assessments, projects, quizzes, and other methods, and provide progress reports as required
Events & Engagement
- Coordinate with school authorities and teachers to support annual student showcases
- Conduct hackathons, quizzes, and field visits to enhance student engagement and learning experiences
- Support operational and programme requirements for annual and special events
Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to programme growth and impact through out-of-classroom initiatives, workshops, research and development activities, curriculum testing, impact assessment, recruitment support, performance reviews, and team-wide decision-making processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or training experience working with children in a formal setting
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Effective relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Intellectual curiosity, openness to feedback, and willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on computer science education
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or demonstrated experience in STEM, Computer Science, or Education
- Working knowledge of education and programme evaluation methods
- Experience in start-up or fast-growing organisational environments

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
