Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers to inspire and educate students across various age groups and special needs populations. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs, including early childhood, preschool, and special education settings
  • Implement curriculum development strategies that incorporate learning technology, literacy education, math, physical education, music therapy, recreational therapy, and other instructional areas
  • Adapt teaching approaches for students with disabilities such as autism, developmental disabilities, visually impaired education needs, or hearing impairments including deaf education
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and update individualized education programs (IEPs) that set clear goals for each student’s progress
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through behavioral therapy techniques, behavioral health strategies, and classroom management best practices
  • Use assessment tools such as standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Provide mentorship and academic advising to support students’ social-emotional well-being and academic achievement
  • Engage in ongoing professional development in areas like applied behavior analysis (ABA), instructional design, tutoring, early intervention, Montessori methods, toddler care, preschool experience, library services, child welfare, private school experience, early childhood education, childcare, and learning technology

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications in special education or related disciplines preferred
  • Proven classroom experience with children or young adults in educational settings; experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development across multiple subjects including literacy, math, physical education, music therapy, recreational therapy, and behavioral health
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and experience implementing individualized learning plans
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and support staff
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and behavioral management strategies
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Knowledge of learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement
  • Compassionate approach to working with children requiring special accommodations or additional support services

Pay: $15.50 - $26.51 per hour
