Teachers – Childcare Center

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Center Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the overall well-being of each child in our care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, and physical education.
• Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized attention to students, supporting their emotional and developmental needs.
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Utilize standardized testing methods to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or educational setting is essential.
• Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience in behavior management strategies and knowledge of childhood development principles.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Additional experience in tutoring or teaching physical education is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.15 - $20.00 per hour
