We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Center Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the overall well-being of each child in our care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, and physical education.
- Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention to students, supporting their emotional and developmental needs.
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Utilize standardized testing methods to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or educational setting is essential.
- Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience in behavior management strategies and knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Additional experience in tutoring or teaching physical education is a plus.
