Smart Way Accounting and Tax Services (SATS) is seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeping Team Lead to oversee a portfolio of clients and lead a team of junior bookkeepers. This role requires an individual who can take full ownership of client deliverables, ensure service excellence, and effectively manage internal workflows and team performance. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in execution while maintaining a leadership role in managing team output and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all bookkeeping and financial reporting for assigned clients.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client onboarding, communication, reporting, and resolving queries. Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all client deliverables.

Proactively maintain and enhance client relationships through consistent, high-quality service and issue resolution.

Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of junior bookkeepers responsible for data entry and routine bookkeeping tasks.

Allocate tasks, review team output, and ensure alignment with client requirements and internal standards.

Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, and support the professional development of team members.

Design and manage workflows to ensure timely and efficient task execution.

Establish and enforce bookkeeping best practices in compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.

Monitor internal systems and processes to improve documentation accuracy and operational efficiency.
Education: ACCA Affiliate or CA Finalist
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role in accounting or bookkeeping
Functional Skills: Proven experience handling international clients and local compliance standards. Strong command of bookkeeping functions and reporting. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books, and other relevant software.
Core Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. High attention to detail and effective time management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
