Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Team Lead – Business Development to manage and drive outbound sales operations across BPO, IT Services, and Real Estate international campaigns. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cold calling, lead qualification, and team leadership within KPI-driven environments. This role requires a balance of strong people management, sales execution, and performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) working on international outbound campaigns.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, transfers, and meetings are consistently achieved.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, shift adherence, and productivity in line with BPO standards.
  • Build a high-performance, accountable, and result-oriented team culture.

Training, Coaching & Quality Assurance

  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for BDEs on scripts, pitch delivery, objection handling, and campaign-specific requirements.
  • Conduct call monitoring, live audits, and quality evaluations to maintain high call standards.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and corrective action plans for underperforming team members.
  • Ensure compliance with internal QA benchmarks and client expectations.

Outbound Sales & Lead Qualification

  • Oversee high-volume outbound cold calling activities for IT services, real estate, and other international offerings.
  • Personally participate in cold calling when required to support targets and set performance benchmarks.
  • Ensure accurate lead qualification, meeting scheduling, and live transfers as per campaign guidelines.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and optimize KPIs related to call volume, connect rates, transfer quality, and meeting conversions.
  • Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports with management and clients.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and improvement areas to enhance campaign efficiency.

CRM & Process Compliance

  • Ensure 100% CRM compliance, including accurate call dispositions, lead stages, notes, and follow-ups.
  • Enforce follow-up SLAs and ensure timely handovers to sales closers or clients.
  • Coordinate with QA, operations, and account management teams for issue resolution.

Activity & Productivity

  • Total Dials (Team, Per Agent, Team Lead)
  • Example Targets:
  • 350 calls/day per agent
  • 2,800 calls/week (team)
  • 250 calls/day (Team Lead)
  • Connect Rate: ≥ 60%

Lead Quality & Conversions

  • Qualified Live Transfers: 5+ per agent/day
  • Transfer Acceptance Rate: ≥ 85%
  • Meeting Scheduled Rate from Connects: ≥ 2%
  • Meeting Show-Up Rate: ≥ 65%

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow-Up SLA Compliance: ≥ 95%
  • Call Quality Score: ≥ 85%
  • CRM Accuracy & Compliance: 100%
