Team Lead Logistic Freight Broker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker Team Lead to manage and grow our brokerage team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising brokers, building strong customer and carrier relationships, and ensuring smooth end-to-end logistics operations while meeting sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of freight brokers to achieve individual and team targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and partners.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profitability.
• Oversee daily freight operations including load booking, tracking, and issue resolution.
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics for brokers, providing coaching and training where required.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and industry regulations.
• Report team performance and progress to management regularly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Freight Broker / Logistics Coordinator (3+ years preferred).
• Previous experience in a team lead or supervisory role within freight brokerage.
• Strong understanding of domestic freight markets (US preferred) and industry trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in using TMS (Transportation Management System) and CRM tools.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
