Position Overview
This is a Front-line Leadership role responsible for driving brand visibility and operational excellence across Modern Institutional Trade (IMT) and Local Modern Trade (LMT) channels in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad region. The Team Lead will act as a strategic link between the field force and the management, ensuring that Nexton and De’LESH products achieve maximum on-shelf availability and superior display standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, train, and motivate a team of merchandisers to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company standards across all assigned outlets.
- Strategic Visibility Execution: Oversee the implementation of merchandising strategies to ensure premium shelf space, effective POSM (Point of Sale Material) placement, and stock replenishment.
- Stakeholder Management (PR): Maintain and leverage strong professional relationships (PR) at IMT and LMT levels to facilitate smooth operations and resolve on-site display issues.
- Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor competitor activities and provide regular feedback to the Head Office. Analyze field data to optimize route plans and merchandising efficiency.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure 100% planogram compliance and maintain rigorous standards of product hygiene and display across the Rawalpindi/Islamabad region.
Knowledge & Skills
This role requires a blend of field execution, retail relationship management, and team supervision.
- Merchandising Excellence: Proven expertise in driving brand visibility and shelf-share within IMT (International Modern Trade) and LMT (Local Modern Trade) channels.
- Operational Team Management: Ability to lead, schedule, and track the daily performance of 10–15 merchandisers, including route plan optimization.
- Retail Stakeholder Relations (PR): Strong interpersonal skills to maintain professional ties with Store Managers and Category Managers to secure premium display spaces.
- Inventory & Planogram Management: Skills in preventing stock-outs and ensuring 100% compliance with company-defined shelf settings (Planograms).
- Field Reporting & Analytics: Proficient in using SFA (Sales Force Automation) apps to provide real-time market feedback and competitor activity reports to the Head Office.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Minimum Graduation (BBA, BA, or a related field).
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience in Merchandising, specifically within the FMCG or Cosmetics industry.
- Leadership Track Record: At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
- Industry Background: Preference will be given to candidates from FMCG, Beverages, or Personal Care sectors.
