2D Animator – eLearning

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D animations for eLearning modules, explainer videos, and interactive content.
• Translate storyboards and scripts into engaging animated sequences.
• Design and animate characters, objects, and backgrounds in a consistent style.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to understand content requirements.
• Sync animation with voice-over narration and sound effects.
• Ensure animations align with branding guidelines and visual identity.
• Revise animations based on feedback and maintain quality standards throughout the project.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines on multiple projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in 2D animation, preferably in the eLearning or education industry.
• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Illustrator, Vyond, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of motion design principles and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A creative mindset with a passion for learning and teaching through visual content.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or SCORM-compliant content.
• Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Experience with tools like Vyond, Toon Boom, or Blender (for 2D).
• Understanding of accessibility standards in eLearning.
