Job Summary

Appedology is looking for a highly skilled and visionary Team Lead – UI/UX Design to guide our design team in crafting seamless, user-centered digital experiences. This leadership role blends creativity with strategy, requiring expertise in UI/UX design and the ability to mentor designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver high quality, impactful products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and inspire a team of UI/UX designers to foster creativity and professional growth.
• Define and implement design standards, guidelines, and best practices across digital platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align business goals with user needs.
• Conduct and oversee user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to inform design decisions.
• Translate complex concepts into intuitive interfaces and engaging user journeys.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on team deliverables to ensure world-class quality.
• Stay updated with design trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Manage project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Advocate for user-centric design thinking across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of UI/UX design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing impactful user-centered design projects.
• Expertise in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Sketch.
• Deep understanding of UX research, usability testing, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent visual design skills (typography, color, layout).
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management ability.
• Strong balance of creativity, strategy, and execution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
