Team Leader - Project Accounting

We are excited to open an internal opportunity for a Team Leader – Project Accounting within the Finance Department.

This role is ideal for a strong senior accountant ready to step into a leadership position, taking ownership of the project accounting function, guiding a team, and ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of all financial operations.

The Team Leader will oversee key areas such as:

  • Bank & accounts reconciliations and monthly closing
  • Service provider payments and financial controls
  • VAT reporting and audit preparation
  • Financial reporting and stakeholder coordination
  • Team leadership, coaching, and performance management

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, confident in handling complex financial processes, and passionate about developing people while maintaining strong financial discipline and compliance.


Requirements

  • Strong advanced accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience
  • Proven leadership and team management capability
  • Strong ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
  • Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop team members
  • Ability to work independently and lead without close supervision
  • Strong decision-making and accountability mindset
