Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis of current systems.
- 
Develop and maintain artifacts such as business process models, user stories, use cases, wireframes, data flow diagrams, and requirement traceability matrices (RTMs).
- 
Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure solutions meet user needs and technical feasibility.
- 
Assist in the development of system documentation, user guides, and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
- 
Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily standups.
- 
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support the design and testing of systems to ensure requirements are met.
- 
Conduct stakeholder analysis and facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business users.
- 
Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices and tools within the project or organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 
3–5 years of experience in business analysis, including work on technical projects in a federal environment.
- 
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- 
Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, MS Office).
- 
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- 
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and systems integration.
- 
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- 
Experience working directly with federal government agencies preferred
- 
Knowledge of federal IT standards, FISMA, Section 508, or related compliance frameworks.
- 
Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and/or modern data platforms.
- 
Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
