We are seeking a SAP- ABAP & Integration Engineer with strong experience in Retail Supply Chain Management systems, specializing in ABAP development, integrations with SAP and 3rdnparty platforms, and modern ABAP technologies. The role spans WMS, TMS, Procurement and Forecasting/Replenishment domains with implementations and enhancements across Grocery, Digital, F&L and Omnichannel retail formats. The candidate should also have exposure to

AI- assisted ABAP development tools and modern coding practices.

Development experience in Open source software and systems integrations tools like JAVA, PYTHON, MYSQL, MongoDB, KAFKA etc. and Angular /React Frame work and other Mobility system development tools highly desirable.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive the product/engineering roadmap for AI-enabled and agentic workflows, accelerating digital productivity across the retail value chain.

• Build scalable, modular, high-performance systems/products that power mission-critical retail operations.

• Translate complex business and user problems into simple, intuitive, and elegant solutions using data, design, and experimentation.

• Collaborate deeply with engineering, design, data, business, and operations to deliver measurable value.

• Own product/feature success metrics — improving adoption, efficiency, and customer experience.

• Bring clarity to ambiguity by defining strategy, scope, prioritization, and clear decision frameworks.

• Raise the bar for product/engineering excellence by influencing system architecture, processes, and culture.

• Design, develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs, interfaces, workflows and reports

• Develop and support integrations between SAP and 3rdnparty SCM applications

• Build and maintain IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, OData services and API based integrations

• Support REST / SOAP / file and message based integrations

• Collaborate with SCM functional teams across WMS, TMS, Procurement and Replenishment

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs

• Optimize code performance, reusability and modularity using clean coding practices

• Leverage AI assisted tools for code generation, review and documentation

•Support UAT, deployment, production stabilization and defect resolution

• Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

What You Bring:

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in building and scaling large consumer, enterprise, or AI-led products/systems.

• Strong capability in problem framing, user understanding, data-driven decisioning, and outcome definition.

• Exceptional ability to collaborate with engineering, design, data, and cross-functional partners.

• High ownership mindset with the ability to lead in ambiguity.

• Clear, structured communication and strong stakeholder influence skills.

• 3–6 years of SAP ABAP and integration development experience

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross functional collaboration skills

• Ability to work in fast paced retail and operations environments.

• ABAP Dictionary Objects

• worked on Reports for processing and display output. (RICEF objects)

• Module Pool programming Knowledge.

• Use of ALV classical reporting as well as Interactive.

• Creation/Modifications SMARTFORMS end to end.

• Creation and use of various types of FUCTION modules.

• Development experience in BADI, Class and Methods, use of OOPS objects

• Development Experience in User Exits/ Enhancement Spots

• Creation and use of various types of FUCTION modules.

• ALE/ EDI-IDOC , Mobility /Android app development

• Exposure to AI assisted ABAP development tools

• Extensive ABAPdevelopment knowledgeespecially in SCM systems.

• Experience working in Retail / Omnichannel / Ecommerce environments

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, automation frameworks, or decision engines.

• Background in high-growth product startups or big tech scale environments.

• Worked in developments pertain to modules like – SAP MM ,WM, F&R

• Domain knowledge in retail, commerce, supply chain, or large operational ecosystems.

• Background in high-growth product startups or big tech scale environments.

• Distribution centre automation system integrations with WMS / TMS systems

• Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, AI/ML ecosystems, or modern full-stack technologies.

• Development exposure in at least two to three SCM functional areas: WMS / TMS /

• Knowledge onSCM processes on - Grocery , Digital , F&L
