Technical Business Analyst (Software)

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join us in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in a software house environment, with a proven track record of gathering requirements, analyzing business needs, and ensuring smooth communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.

In this role, you will play a key part in bridging the gap between clients and developers, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap analysis to identify improvements.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare detailed documentation including BRDs, SRS, wireframes, flow diagrams, and user manuals.
• Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
• Support requirement management and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in designing prototypes and providing input into UI/UX discussions.
• Participate in client meetings, demos, and presentations, ensuring clear communication of project scope and progress.
• Facilitate business process reengineering to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software house or IT services company.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).
• Ability to create functional specifications, user stories, and wireframes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar.
