Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Technical Business Development Manager with a strong background in the software industry. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working across multiple projects and products, combining technical understanding with strategic business development skills to drive growth, build client relationships, and identify new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in software development, SaaS, and IT services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Work closely with product and technical teams to align business strategies with product capabilities and roadmap.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects and product portfolios while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to clients.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and brand positioning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development within the software/IT industry.
- Strong technical understanding of software development, SaaS platforms, APIs, and emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of handling multiple projects and product-based environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales pipelines.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or in a team.
