Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and review of landscape design plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare shop drawings, construction details, material take-offs, and BOQs for landscape projects.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure landscape works integrate seamlessly with overall project requirements.
• Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Provide technical input during all project phases – from design and planning to execution and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies in collaboration with the site team and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for internal and client use.
• Assist in the selection and specification of landscape materials, including plants, paving, irrigation systems, lighting, and furniture.
• Support sustainability initiatives and incorporate best practices in green landscaping and water-efficient systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a technical or engineering role within the landscape or construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other design software; familiarity with irrigation and lighting design tools is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, horticulture, soil science, drainage, and irrigation systems.
• Understanding of local building codes, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both in the office and on-site under varying conditions.
