We are seeking a Technical Facility Coordinator with 2–5 years of experience in commercial property management, facilities management, or building maintenance coordination. This position is ideal for someone who has developed a solid foundation in facility and property operations and is ready to take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities while continuing to grow professionally.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, technically minded, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent service to property owners, tenants, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage vendors and contractors, including obtaining bids, scheduling work, and monitoring project completion.
- Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and other building systems.
- Track and manage work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Assist with capital improvement and construction projects.
- Review invoices, proposals, and service contracts for accuracy.
- Communicate with tenants, contractors, ownership, and management regarding maintenance and projects.
- Maintain organized records of maintenance activities, inspections, and vendor contracts.
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and project coordination.
- Help ensure properties are maintained in a safe, clean, and professional manner.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial property management, facilities management, or building maintenance coordination.
- Working knowledge of commercial building systems and maintenance practices.
- Experience coordinating vendors and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with property management software such as Yardi is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
