Position Overview:
The Technical Manager will serve as the go-to technical resource within the R&C department, leveraging their 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas construction or EPC projects. Their primary focus will be on assisting with project technical audits, while also contributing to project reviews.
Responsibilities:

Support the Head of ERM & Operations Support in implementing and enhancing the ERM framework.

Assist divisions and corporate functions in applying approved risk management processes.

Review and analyze risk data to identify significant or emerging risks.

Conduct compliance checks and audits to ensure proper implementation.

Track status of risk treatments and escalate concerns to leadership when required.

Provide system support on SAP, ProAACT, Primavera, and Power BI for reporting and analysis.

Contribute to proposal reviews, project management SOP improvements, and operational initiatives.

Prepare reports and insights for leadership and board reviews.
Qualifications:
-
15-20 years' experience in Oil & Gas as Project Manager, Head Project Controls, Project Controls Manager. Project Engineer background can also be considered.

Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree.

Proven experience in project reviews and audits.

Strong understanding of Oil & Gas project lifecycles, engineering principles, and technical specifications.

Strong understanding of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities

Proficiency in Primavera P6, databases, data analytics tools (Power BI or similar), project management software (e.g., SAP-PS), and other relevant tools.

Strong in Contracts Management.

Good knowledge about proposal & estimation.
