technical office team leader

The Technical Office Team Leader will oversee the technical office operations within our construction firm, ensuring the effective execution of project plans, compliance with industry standards, and coordination between field operations and design teams. This role is crucial in managing technical documentation, enhancing team performance, and supporting project delivery within time and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the technical office team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
  • Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers and field teams to facilitate the smooth execution of construction projects.
  • Conduct quality control checks and audits on technical outputs to maintain industry standards.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the technical office processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on project progress, technical issues, and team performance.
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel and tools, for technical office functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering, interior design , or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management or technical office roles.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, technical documentation, and industry standards.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software and design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
