Technical Presales Engineer

Location: Near Giga Mall, DHA II, Islamabad

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Presales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling Upwork project discovery calls, client communication, and converting leads into long-term clients. This role requires strong technical understanding of IT projects along with excellent communication and client-handling skills. The candidate will work closely with the business development and technical teams to understand client requirements and present suitable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Upwork project discovery calls with potential clients to understand their technical and business requirements.
• Handle client communication professionally and build strong relationships.
• Convert incoming leads into confirmed clients/projects through effective presales strategies.
• Work closely with the development and project teams to align client requirements with technical solutions.
• Prepare project proposals, scope discussions, and requirement clarifications for clients.
• Ensure smooth coordination between clients and internal teams during the presales phase.
• Maintain clear documentation of client requirements, discussions, and project scope.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.
• Proven experience in technical presales for IT/software services.
• Hands-on experience with Upwork project discovery calls, client locking, and lead conversion.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of software development projects and IT services.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical clients.
• Strong client-handling and negotiation skills.

Candidate Preference:

• Experience working with international clients on freelancing platforms (especially Upwork) will be highly preferred.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
