Technical Sales Manager

Job Overview

Cplusoft is looking for a results-driven Technical Sales Manager to generate new business, close deals, and grow revenue. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in closing clients through Upwork and direct outreach.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Growth

  • Generate and close new business through Upwork, referrals, LinkedIn, and professional networks.
  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable Cplusoft services (web, mobile, AI, custom software).
  • Conduct discovery calls, define project scope, finalize pricing, and negotiate contracts.
  • Convert leads into long-term clients through professional communication and trust-building.
  • Work with management to ensure profitable pricing and revenue targets are achieved.

Pre-Sales & Proposal Management

  • Coordinate with the technical team to prepare proposals, cost estimates, and timelines.
  • Convert client discussions into clear project scopes and deliverables.
  • Lead client presentations, demos, and proposal walkthroughs.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals on Upwork and direct client platforms.

Client Coordination & Account Management

  • Act as the main commercial contact between clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to project execution.
  • Monitor ongoing projects from a sales perspective and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships to secure repeat business.

Sales Reporting & Strategy

  • Maintain sales pipeline and track lead conversion.
  • Provide weekly updates on leads, deals, and revenue forecasts.
  • Identify market trends and suggest new service opportunities for Cplusoft.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT services sales or technical sales.
  • Proven experience closing clients on Upwork or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to AI/ML or emerging technology projects.
  • Experience using CRM and project management tools (Jira, Trello, ClickUp, MS Teams).
  • Experience working with international clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
