Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical recruiting and talent acquisition, with the ability to effectively identify, engage, and attract top talent for various technical roles. This position requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the technical landscape, and a passion for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and campus recruitment.
- Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from initial contact through offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Lever, Workday, or iCIMS to maintain accurate candidate records.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates through effective communication and follow-up.
- Stay updated on industry trends and employment laws to ensure compliance throughout the recruiting process.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance recruiting strategies and processes.
- Conduct research to identify new sourcing strategies and improve talent management practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in technical recruiting with a strong understanding of HR sourcing techniques.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close candidates effectively.
- Strong interviewing capabilities to evaluate technical skills accurately.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Lever, Workday, Taleo, or iCIMS.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law as it pertains to recruitment practices.
- Proficiency in social media management for candidate engagement and lead generation.
- Experience in executive recruiting and internal recruiting processes is a plus.
- Strong relationship management skills with an emphasis on employee relations.
- Ability to conduct employee evaluations and facilitate employee orientation programs.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems like Paychex or UltiPro is advantageous.
