About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Reviewer to join our engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for reviewing engineering drawings and technical deliverables to ensure accuracy, coordination, completeness, and compliance with project requirements before issuance.

This is an office-based position within a professional engineering environment. The role focuses on the quality and technical review of design documentation and does not involve site supervision or inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for accuracy, coordination, and completeness.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, client requirements, applicable codes, and company standards.
• Identify design inconsistencies, clashes, omissions, and technical issues within drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and technical teams to resolve review comments and technical discrepancies.
• Ensure all drawing revisions are accurately tracked and documented.
• Review technical submissions and project deliverables before issuance to clients.
• Maintain drawing review records, revision logs, and quality documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of technical review procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure consistency across multidisciplinary design deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in engineering consultancy, design coordination, technical review, or related roles.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience reviewing architectural, structural, and/or MEP documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM platforms for drawing review purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in engineering consultancy or design office environments.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Familiarity with document control procedures and quality management systems.
• Experience reviewing technical submissions, IFC drawings, tender drawings, or design deliverables.
