We are seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Engineer to lead our sales efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to make a significant impact and contribute to the continued growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets in sales in preferable if it were in the water pumps division.
- Providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to drive performance and exceed sales goals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, including major accounts and strategic partners, to drive business growth and expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tendering, business development, and logistics, to develop customized solutions and address client needs effectively.
- Conduct high-level technical presentations and demonstrations of products and solutions to senior executives and decision-makers, showcasing the value proposition and benefits.
- Grow knowledge of principal’s range of products and services and their strength and how competition compares to the range.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and market leadership.
- Perform project tracking activities in country and update periodically on their current stages.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as a thought leader and subject matter expert, driving brand awareness and business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; preferable in Mechanical.
- Proven track record of success in technical sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Technical expertise in technologies, with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Profession: Preferable is mechanical.
Experience: 3 years in the Qatari market; it would be preferable if it were in the water pumps division.
