Role Description

The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales by combining technical knowledge with strong communication and customer service skills. The role involves understanding client requirements, providing technical solutions, preparing proposals, Tender and ensuring successful closure of sales while maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Job Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned markets and sectors.
  • Understand client technical requirements and recommend suitable Meraj Limited products/solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and tender documents in line with company standards.
  • Liaise with the design, production, and engineering teams to ensure feasibility of offered solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including site visits when required.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide ongoing account management.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market developments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or automotive Engineering (or equivalent).

2–4 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in industrial equipment, fire protection systems, pumps, or engineering products.

Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and ability to explain technical details to non-technical customers.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
