About the Job:

A Junior Technical Sales Engineer supports the sales team by combining technical expertise and sales knowledge to assist in presenting and selling complex technical products and solutions to customers. This role requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and a customer-oriented mindset to help drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior sales engineers in managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Understand and explain technical features and benefits of products to customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and quotations to support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback from customers and improve solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support by answering technical questions and addressing client concerns.
  • Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
  • Support post-sales activities including customer onboarding and technical training.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and manage customer relationships.
  • Develop skills and knowledge to transition into senior technical sales roles.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in technical, sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of programming, networking, or cloud technologies is advantageous.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer engagements and industry events.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn new technologies.
