Technical Sales Manager- Adhesives, Coats, and Sealants

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality adhesives, coatings, and sealants in the UAE. Known for innovation, reliability, and technical excellence, the company serves a diverse industrial and commercial client base. With a strong growth trajectory, the client is seeking a driven individual to join the team in a pivotal commercial and technical role.

Salary: 15 000 AED + Profit Sharings

Role Overview

The Technical Sales Manager will drive revenue growth through strategic sales, technical advisory, and customer relationship management. This role requires a blend of commercial acumen and technical expertise in adhesives, coatings, and sealants. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in a similar technical commercial role within the industry, preferably working directly with adhesives, coatings, and sealants manufacturer, bringing value and insights to the business.

This position suits a proactive, results oriented professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, motivated to contribute to both top line growth and bottom line profitability through performance based incentives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and end users.
  • Provide technical guidance and consultancy to clients regarding products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Lead pricing, negotiation, and contract discussions to maximize profitability.
  • Report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecast, with actionable recommendations.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to explore new business opportunities and optimize margins.
Must Have Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-12+ years of experience in a technical commercial role within adhesives, coatings, sealants, or a closely related industry.
  • Proven track record of working with manufacturers and delivering measurable commercial impact.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and strategic sales skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building capabilities.
  • Self driven, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently to achieve business outcomes.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to international markets or cross border sales.
Reporting Line

Reports to the Managing Director / CEO.
